Meet Laura & Brian owners of Twin Oaks Lavender Farm

Our story of Twin Oaks Lavender Farm

Hello All,

We are Brian and Laura, the proud owners of Twin Oaks Lavender Farm. We’d like to share a bit about our journey with you.

Growing up in the same local area, we attended the same schools and churches, and our families often socialized together. We knew each other as children and reconnected in 2018 after our own children had left the nest.

In 2020, following the passing of Brian’s parents, he and his brothers divided their parents' 56-acre farm. Brian kept 10.6 acres, and in 2022, we built our new home on this cherished land.

Seeking a meaningful use for our property beyond keeping a few zany barn animals, we researched small crops suitable for limited acreage. Laura delved into the versatility and beauty of lavender, and we were immediately captivated! Our first lavender crop was planted in late spring 2022.

By 2024, we had expanded our half-acre field to around 800 plants, cultivating English Lavender varieties such as Hidcote, Munstead, and Elegance Purple, along with the high oil-producing varieties like Grosso, Phenomenal, and Sensational. We are committed to sustainable farming, so all our planting, tending, and harvesting are done by hand without the use of chemicals.

We produce a range of beautiful lavender products, including lavender hydrosols, magnesium blends, culinary spices, and whole-leaf teas. We grow, provide, and sell the best Culinary and Oil-Producing Lavender for you to create with. Our own lovely, fragrant products are crafted in small batches, infused with the lovely fragrance of our homegrown lavender. We offer classes and workshops for groups and companies, featuring the creative uses of lavender and the victories and challenges of growing this beautiful, aromatic herb.

Our farm is nestled in Central Ohio, growing zone 6a, approximately 30 minutes east of Columbus.

The earth laughs in flowers.
